Statement from Derrell Sims: (4-20-08)
"To put a timeline on this 'Clinton story' I will repeat what I told to Grant Cameron, UFO Historian, (who repeated part of my story to  the Ozark UFO Conference last week.)

I was contacted by Stephen Bassett (around 1998).He had  apparently found out about several meetings that I had with Mrs. Clinton's friend.  Mrs. Clinton's confidant informed me of the Clinton's interest in my research (I assume the Implant discovery I had made in 1960 culminating in a series of 23 surgeries to date to  remove the illusive alien implants!  It could have been the Fluorescence finds I made on abductees in 1992?  Or perhaps the holographic imagery in glass of an entity passing through the glass to abduct a police officer in Houston, Texas?  I don't know what particularly piqued their interests!   I agreed to send them my new  video on "Alien Implants" and my other video on "Best Evidence w/ Jim Romanovich, the top shelf interviewer from Los Angeles who came  to visit me in Houston.

On a return visit Ms. Clinton's friend/confidant stated that the Clintons had watched both of my videos and enjoyed the work.  They  made some offers to assist in funding my work.  I refused on grounds of possible conflict of interest (I didn't like the offer as it smacked of unethical collaborations, and I did not care to be part  of some federal investigation at a later date.  My two colleagues (of the time) were pretty upset that I took the high road on the offer.

 Stephen Basset contacted me some time later and asked if I still had  contact with  any White House contacts?  I told him I had very limited contact with that person, and I was not and never was in  contact with the "President or Ms. Clinton" personally.

Stephen put forth his interest and I conveyed the message.  I have  no idea what the internal discussions were on the matter at the White House!  I have no idea if they even thought about the deal?  I have no idea if the "story" even got to the White House...  And that, as they say, is "The Rest of the Story".
